The 16th Annual GK Chesterton Pilgrimage

Phil McCarthy • July 27, 2026

The 16th Annual GK Chesterton Pilgrimage will be held on Saturday 1st August 2026!

Every year, the Catholic G. K. Chesterton Society leads a group of pilgrims out of London, along the Grand Union Canal and through the countryside, from the church Chesterton was baptised in at Notting Hill, to the cemetery he was buried in at Beaconsfield.

The Mass will be held at Iver Heath Brigettine Convent at 2:30pm.

You can get involved by:

  • Joining us in person to walk the whole 27 miles or part of the route
  • Praying with us at Mass
  • Joining us spiritually through prayer
  • Sponsoring our pilgrims!

For more information visit the Society's website or phone or text 07795 205114
