The 2027 English Camino: Stockport, Yorkshire and Cambridge

Stephen Gallagher • October 30, 2026

The Manchester to Walsingham English Camino is planned for 2027! Three groups of pilgrims will set out on foot to Our Lady’s Shrine in Walsingham—sharing hardship, prayer and friendship, and reviving an ancient English tradition.

The Manchester pilgrims will set out on 18th March, arriving in Walsingham 26th March. There will also be walks from Yorkshire and Cambridge all converging on King's Lynn before walking the final day to Walsingham together. People are welcome to come join us for any sections or all.  Support vehicles will be on the road so people can simply walk as much as they feel able.
